Tinosorb S is one of the most advanced UV filters available. We use it in our sunscreen formulations for its unmatched photostability and its ability to protect other UV filters from degradation, resulting in longer-lasting SPF protection.
MECHANISM
Hydroxyphenyltriazine broad-spectrum UV filter absorbing both UVA and UVB (280-380nm). Photostable and unique in its ability to stabilize other filters including Avobenzone. Scavenges triplet-state excited molecules. Oil-soluble.
