Sugar-based surfactants like Decyl Glucoside represent the next generation of gentle cleansing technology. We use them in our sensitive skin cleansers where even conventional mild surfactants would be too irritating.

MECHANISM

Non-ionic alkyl polyglucoside surfactant with a glucose headgroup and fatty alcohol (decanol) tail. Extremely mild — does not disrupt lipid bilayers at normal use levels. Excellent foaming and wetting properties.
