Neossance Squalane is the premium standard for biomimetic emolliency. Derived from sugarcane (not shark liver), it is 100% sustainable and structurally identical to the squalene in human skin, making it completely non-comedogenic and barrier-restorative.

MECHANISM

Hydrogenated form of squalene (from sugarcane via Neossance). Biomimetic lipid identical to the squalene component of human sebum (approximately 12% of sebum composition). Non-comedogenic despite being an oil. Fills intercellular spaces in the stratum corneum.
