ALANINE
Alanine is one of the amino acids naturally found in skin's NMF. In our amino acid formulations, it joins a full complex of skin-identical compounds to restore the moisture-binding capacity of the stratum corneum.
MECHANISM
Non-essential amino acid and component of the skin's Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF). Small molecular size allows easy penetration into the stratum corneum, where it contributes to moisture retention.
BENEFITS
Amino acid — NMF component, moisture retention
