Serine contributes to the complete amino acid NMF complex in our hydration gel and cream, where it helps restore the skin's natural moisture-binding capacity and supports ceramide synthesis for a stronger skin barrier.

MECHANISM

Non-essential amino acid that is a key NMF component maintaining stratum corneum hydration. Precursor to ceramides via the sphingolipid biosynthesis pathway. Also a building block for proteins and phospholipids.
