BISABOLOL

Bisabolol is an exceptionally gentle anti-inflammatory that is particularly effective in cleansers and formulas designed for sensitive or reactive skin. It calms redness and irritation without any harsh effects.

MECHANISM

Monocyclic sesquiterpene alcohol from Matricaria chamomilla (German chamomile). Inhibits 5-lipoxygenase and cyclooxygenase pathways for potent anti-inflammatory action. Also inhibits thromboxane synthetase.
