Hydroxyethylcellulose allows us to create our elegant clear serum and gel textures without silicones or synthetic polymers. It provides the ideal viscosity for serums while maintaining crystal clarity.

MECHANISM

Hydrates and swells in water to form a clear gel matrix. Non-ionic nature makes it compatible with anionic and cationic ingredients. Exhibits pseudoplastic (shear-thinning) flow behavior — thick at rest, flows easily on application.
