PHENOXYETHANOL
a.k.a. Euxyl PE 9010
Phenoxyethanol is one of the most well-studied and reliable preservatives in cosmetics. We use it within its safe, established limits to ensure our products remain free from contamination throughout their shelf life, protecting our customers.
MECHANISM
Disrupts bacterial cell membranes with broad-spectrum efficacy effective up to pH 12. Compatible with anionic and non-ionic surfactants. Significantly enhanced by Ethylhexylglycerin as a co-preservative.
