MECHANISM

Meroterpene from Psoralea corylifolia (Babchi) seeds. Activates PPAR-gamma pathway — retinol-like activity without binding retinoid receptors. Upregulates collagen I, III, and IV genes. Inhibits MMP-1 and NF-kB for anti-inflammatory effect. Does not cause retinoid dermatitis.
