NIACINAMIDE
a.k.a. Niacinamide
Niacinamide is one of the most scientifically validated multi-action skin actives available. It appears in nearly every BP Derma formula because it simultaneously supports skin barrier, controls sebum, brightens, and reduces inflammation — making it the perfect foundation for multi-benefit formulations.
MECHANISM
Precursor to NAD+ and NADP+ coenzymes critical for cellular energy. Strengthens the ceramide barrier, inhibits melanosome transfer from melanocytes to keratinocytes (brightening), and reduces sebaceous lipid production (pore refinement and anti-acne).
